Nathan Bridges

Dr. Bridges is a professional performer and professor with Ph.D. in Music who will prepare you for auditions, college, and improve overall technique.
Teaching Philosophy

I like to customize lesson plans based upon the goal of students and/or their parents. I feel that a personalized approach to teaching helps the student advance quicker and remain interested in their studies. I also try to make lessons fun while keeping structure and achieving our preset goals. I also like to consistently evaluate performance and goals and make necessary adjustments.

Experience

As a performer, I have performed with professional orchestras both in the US and Europe, chamber ensembles, and contemporary bands. I have also held a number of solo recitals and concerts. As an educator, I have taught private woodwind, voice, and piano lessons for over 10 years. I have also served as an instructor at universities and private academies. My primary instrument is Flute and Piccolo; secondary is oboe, saxophone, and clarinet.
