Above all, I teach my students how to practice. It is a simple yet often difficult-to-acquire skill. Learn how to practice effectively, and watch your skill at the piano improve much faster than you expect. I teach music theory along with piano/keyboard skills, and can also help with studio and electronic music (recording studio, MAX/MSP, etc.).
I've been playing piano and keyboards, and writing music, for over 50 years. I have also been a recording studio owner/engineer/producer, and have been using MIDI and computers to make music since the late 80s. I've been teaching piano, recording studio, and theory full time for the last 7 years.
