Jared Wofford

I'm a knowledgable, versatile teacher/performer who knows no two students think alike!
Teaching Philosophy

I believe that a successful music education comes out of balance--a balance between theory and creativity, mechanics and inspiration, discipline and enjoyment. I seek to help all of my students have a thorough understanding of music theory while empowering them with the ability to apply it to the music they love. Typically lessons will begin with technique building, exercises, or etudes, and progress into a piece which the student is interested in learning or developing.

Joel B.

“I really had a great lesson experience with Jared. He obviously is qualified and knows jazz guitar very well. He covered a lot in 30 minutes and the information was concise and appropriate for my level. He gave me clear direction for practicing. I asked many questions and he answered them to my satisfaction.”
