I started with the Suzuki method as a small toddler, so this is the method I like to use. I love the amazing process in how the ear develops through listening and problem solving.
For two weeks during one summer, I did "boot camp practice sessions" with students. I spent 2-3 hours watching and coaching the students how to practice. We took small breaks in between to rest the fingers. The progress made in one day was fantastic.
I started teaching classical lessons for free at age 15 to a homeless lady in downtown Fort Worth. I was amazed at the progress she made with how little resources she had. I began teaching lessons to younger children after this. In August 2015, I taught lessons to children in Costa Rica in the Spanish language.
In 2017, I started teaching both violin and piano lessons at Kirk's Studio for the Performing Arts in the Phoenix area.
I’ve had amazing experiences performing in Carnegie Hall and with artists such as Cyndi Lauper, William Joseph, The Piano Guys, Josh Groban, and opening for Carrie Underwood. In November 2015, I also had an amazing opportunity to join the music company 92 Keys where we produced seven successful music videos. I am currently working towards a MM in Performance Pedagogy at ASU.
