I started with the Suzuki method as a small toddler, so this is the method I like to use. I love the amazing process in how the ear develops through listening and problem solving.
For two weeks during one summer, I did "boot camp practice sessions" with students. I spent 2-3 hours watching and coaching the students how to practice. We took small breaks in between to rest the fingers. The progress made in one day was fantastic.
I started teaching classical lessons for free at age 16 to a homeless lady in downtown Fort Worth. I was amazed at the progress she made with how little resources she had. I began teaching lessons to younger children after this. In August 2015, I taught lessons to children in Costa Rica in the Spanish language.
I’ve had amazing experiences performing in Carnegie Hall and with artists such as Cyndi Lauper, William Joseph, The Piano Guys, Josh Groban, and opening for Carrie Underwood. In November 2015, I also had an amazing opportunity to join the music company 92 Keys where we produced a successful music video. I will be continuing to work with 92 Keys in summer 2016 on more music and videos.
