Connor Chee

I'm an award-winning pianist who focuses on your personal goals and learning style to build excellent technique and musicianship
Teaching Philosophy

I believe that EVERY student has a unique talent at the piano--identifying this talent is the key to eventually shaping a well-rounded musician. I tailor my method to each student, developing confidence through their strengths, and using that confidence to elevate their weaknesses. When my students feel truly able to accomplish the sometimes difficult techniques on the piano, they have more enjoyable and productive practice sessions.

Experience

I have won the World Piano Competition, and performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall and the United Nations. I continue to perform regularly throughout the Southwestern United States, performing solo recitals, chamber music, and soloing with orchestras.

Credentials

I earned my Master's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, and my Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music. I received my high school certificate in instrumental music from Cincinnati's School for Creative and Performing Arts.
