I believe that the more you know about your craft, the better you will be as an overall musician. I start off by finding out the career or personal goals of each student and then tailor the lessons to meet the students' individual needs.
I started playing the piano at the age of 8 and later picked up the cello in middle school. I've participated in numerous music camps, seminars, master classes and music courses over the years. I studied both music and engineering in college after being honored as a South Carolina Governor's scholar for arts and academics. I currently teach piano, cello and music theory as an independent teacher and also with the Ken Stanton music stores.
I've taught piano and cello for over 10 years. In addition to performing with various award-winning artists, I have also been a section cellist with several community symphonies in the Metro Atlanta area. Please visit my website at www.AudreyWilliamsMusic.com for my full bio.
