My focus in teaching is on building a fundamental technique that can allow singers to perform any style of vocal music in a safe and healthy way.
I teach my students the function and anatomy of the voice and its supporting musculature and train them to use it in a manner that is both artistically fulfilling and vocally healthy.
I have extensive experience performing with music festivals in the United States and Italy. Most recently, I played Voltaire/Dr. Pangloss in Leonard Bernstein's "Candide" at the Aspen Music Festival and several seasons ago played Chino in their production of Bernstein's "West Side Story".
